Manchester United Monitors Valverde's Situation in Preparation for Signing

The Mirror newspaper revealed that Manchester United is monitoring the situation of Uruguayan player Federico Valverde, a Real Madrid player, in preparation for attempting to sign him during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid the crisis he is experiencing within the Spanish club following his altercation with teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni.

According to the newspaper, the crisis that occurred between Valverde and Tchouaméni during training resulted in the Uruguayan player suffering a concussion, which required his hospitalization, causing him to miss participating with the team. The report also indicated that Valverde issued a public apology, while the club's management is considering the possibility of selling him in the summer.

The report added that several leaders within the Real Madrid locker room supported Tchouaméni and demanded Valverde's departure before the next season, while Manchester United continues to monitor developments as part of its plan to strengthen the midfield.

The newspaper also explained that Tchouaméni was among Manchester United's interests, but the French player does not wish to leave Real Madrid after the support he received from the club following his recent crisis with Valverde. On the other hand, the Uruguayan international is under contract with Real Madrid until 2029, meaning any potential deal would require a significant financial offer.
