Will Amr El-Gazzar Return to the National Bank?
Ashraf Nassar, the president of Al Ahly Bank Club, revealed the club's stance on the return of Amr El-Gazzar to the team during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Amr El-Gazzar joined Al Ahly from Al Ahly Bank during the last winter transfer window.
Ashraf Nassar said in a television statement: "Why isn't Amr El-Gazzar participating with Al-Ahly? It might be a technical decision, and the coach (Jes Thorup) may want to stabilize the lineup due to the pressure and difficulty of the matches. That's my perspective."
He added: "Any coach wants to win, and thus excluding Al-Jazzar from the lineup could be a technical perspective."
When asked about the truth of Amr El-Gazzar's injury before his transfer to Al Ahly, he replied, saying: "No, he wasn't suffering from any injury, he only had a slight strain."
Ashraf Nasr confirmed: "We are not considering borrowing or bringing back Amr El-Gazzar if Al-Ahly opens the door for his departure, as we currently have an abundance in the defense line and have other positions that are a priority for us."
