Behind the Scenes of Choosing the New Football Director at Al-Ahly

The media personality Ahmed Shobier revealed the behind-the-scenes details of selecting the new football manager at Al Ahly Club in the upcoming period.

Shobeir said on his radio program that Al Ahly's management initially wanted to appoint Mohamed Shawky, the coach of Zed FC, as the football director at the beginning of the season, indicating that there is a sense of trust and comfort towards him within the club.

He added that Mohamed Shawky prefers to continue with his coaching staff at ZED Club, where he feels stable and appreciated, and is currently focusing on developing his coaching experience there.

Shobeir concluded his statements by confirming that Al Ahly has not yet definitively decided on the name of the new football director, and that the file is still open to more than one option.
