Flick Comments on Lamine Yamal Raising the Palestinian Flag
Barcelona coach Hans Flick spoke about Lamine Yamal raising the Palestinian flag during the team's celebrations of the La Liga title, stating that he personally did not like it, but it remains the player's decision.
Flick said: "This is something I don't usually like. I spoke with him and told him: If you want this, it's your decision, you're old enough, he's 18 years old."
The German coach added: "We play football, and you can see what people expect from us. When I saw the fans and people in the streets with tears in their eyes, it was unbelievable. They were so happy because we won this wonderful title again, the second in a row."
Flick concluded his remarks by expressing his pride in the team, saying: "We are here to make people happy, and that is the first thing we must do. I am very proud of the players because they delivered an outstanding season despite the many injuries we suffered."
