Shobeir said on his program "With Shobeir" on "On Sport FM" radio that the rumors about Imam Ashour demanding huge sums of money are completely untrue, emphasizing that the player did not request 60 or 70 million pounds as was recently rumored.
He explained that Ashour spoke with Al Ahly officials and confirmed his desire and determination to continue with the Red team.
Shobier pointed out that the player also welcomed the idea of renewing his contract with the Red Castle in the upcoming period, especially given the stability and comfort he is experiencing within the team, along with his desire to achieve more championships wearing Al Ahly's jersey.
