The journalist Ahmed Shobeir revealed the latest updates on the injuries of five Al Ahly players before the match against Al Masry in the league.

Al Ahly will face Al Masry on Wednesday, May 20th, in the seventh and final round of the Egyptian Premier League title playoffs.

In his radio program, Shobeir stated: "Regarding the injuries, I contacted the officials and learned the medical details of the players' conditions. Thank God, Mostafa Shobeir needs three days from today to return to training normally."

He continued: "Thanks to God, his condition is improving well. As for whether he will participate in the upcoming match or not, I mentioned yesterday the possibility of his absence against Al-Masry, but I meant that the final decision rests with the technical side and the coach's vision."

He confirmed: "Mostafa Shobeir has already started training in the gym yesterday, and he has two or three days at most left before he fully joins the goalkeepers' training at 100%. We hope that God protects him and all his teammates from injuries."

He continued: "Hussein El Shahat was supposed to participate in training yesterday, but he informed the team's doctor that he still feels some pain in his shoulder. Therefore, his participation was postponed to the next day or the day after. However, thank God, his condition is reassuring and he is not suffering from any concerning issue."

He continued: "Imam Ashour also spoke with the team doctor yesterday and explained that he still feels some pain in his knee due to the bruise he sustained. The doctor told him that there is no problem and that he can return to training at a time suitable for him, whether today or in the next couple of days. Therefore, it is expected that he will be with the team in two or three days at the latest."

Shobeir spoke about Ahmed Ramadan Beckham's condition, saying: "The player is suffering from an injury in the adductor muscle, in addition to a mild cold, but his overall condition is reassuring. In three days, the date of his return to the field will be determined."

He concluded: "Karim Fouad also caught a mild cold, but medically he is 100% fine. These are all the injuries present within Al Ahly club to make the situation clear to everyone."
