Barcelona Rules Out Signing Gordon

Tuesday 12-05-2026
The reliable journalist specializing in the transfer market, Fabrizio Romano, revealed that the young English winger Anthony Gordon will not be among Barcelona's options in the upcoming period.

Romano explained that the deal is considered very costly for Barcelona, especially since the Catalan club is experiencing a financial crisis, which has led the club's management to explore other alternatives to strengthen the left-wing position.

The report indicated that the player is attracting interest from several major European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich, due to his impressive performance in recent times.

On its part, Sky Sports reported that Newcastle United is open to considering offers for the player, but at the same time, it does not intend to facilitate his departure, valuing his market worth at around 75 million pounds.

Gordon played 46 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 17 goals and providing 5 assists. His contract expires in the summer of 2030.
