Rising Algerian national team star Ibrahim Maze affirmed that his team possesses all the elements needed to perform strongly in the 2026 World Cup finals, emphasizing that "the Greens" are capable of achieving significant results on the global stage.

The Algerian national team is participating in Group J of the tournament, which will be held between June 11 and July 19 next year, alongside the teams of Argentina, Jordan, and Austria, in a group that appears strong and full of challenges.

In his discussion about the national team's prospects, Maza said that Algeria has a distinguished group of players along with a good technical staff, adding: "Yes, I believe we have a good lineup and a good coach, and we have enough time to prepare properly. I see that we are capable of achieving great results."

On the other hand, the German Bayer Leverkusen star clarified in statements to the newspaper "La Gazette du Vinque" that he has not yet discussed with his national team colleagues their ambitions for the World Cup, emphasizing that it is still too early to talk about it.

Maza added: "Currently, I am fully focused on my team to ensure qualification for the Champions League. As for the World Cup, there is still time, and I have other goals at the moment."

In his concluding remarks, the 20-year-old player addressed the Algerian fans, urging them to strongly support the team during the friendly match against the Netherlands scheduled for June 3, saying: "We need them, and I hope they come in large numbers. I believe that together we can achieve great things."
