Al-Nassr Officially Moves to Sign Fenerbahçe Goalkeeper
Al-Nassr Club has made an official offer to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, a player from Turkish club Fenerbahçe, in a move aimed at strengthening the team's lineup for the upcoming season.
Turkish press reports, quoting journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, revealed that the Al-Nassr management has started serious moves by making an official offer to finalize the deal early.
This move is part of the club's plan to strengthen the goalkeeper position, especially in light of the strong competition for championships in the upcoming phase.
Ederson transferred to Fenerbahçe last season after a successful career with Manchester City, during which he achieved numerous titles and accomplishments.
The reports indicated that the financial offer made by Al-Nassr amounted to about 25 million euros, in an attempt to persuade the Turkish club to release the goalkeeper.
Al-Nassr currently has options for goalkeeping, most notably the Brazilian Bento and Nawaf Al-Aqidi. However, the management is looking to add a strong name to provide the team with more defensive stability.
