Newcastle Targets Paris Saint-Germain Striker
The Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos has caught the attention of Newcastle United during the upcoming summer transfer window, as Paris Saint-Germain is open to discussing offers for the player, according to 'Football Insider'.
According to the report, Newcastle seeks to strengthen its attacking line after the decline in performance of some of its players this season, while Ramos does not have regular starting appearances under Luis Enrique's leadership at Paris Saint-Germain.
The source indicated that Newcastle has been following the player since his time at Benfica, before his move to the Parisian club, and continues to be interested in signing him next summer.
The Portuguese player's contract with Paris Saint-Germain extends until June 2028.
The report also clarified that the English club is also monitoring the Dutch striker Donyell Malen, who has delivered impressive numbers with Roma since his loan move from Aston Villa last January.
