Flick Faces a Crucial Decision in El Clasico

Hans Flick, the coach of Barcelona, faces an important decision before the clash against Real Madrid in El Clasico, concerning the selection of the player who will occupy the right-wing position in the absence of Lamine Yamal for the third consecutive match in La Liga due to injury.

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that Rony Bardghji has been Flick's primary choice since Lamine Yamal's injury, having started against Getafe and Osasuna, with his participation in both matches lasting about an hour without scoring or assisting any goals.

The newspaper added that the match against Osasuna marked a shift in the German coach's considerations, after Marcus Rashford succeeded in assisting the winning goal for Robert Lewandowski following his substitution.

Rashford has not started since April 8th in the UEFA Champions League, but he managed to score two goals in his last four La Liga matches against Espanyol and Getafe, in addition to assisting a goal against Osasuna, despite playing as a substitute.

Flick is weighing the options between the two players to start in El Clasico, although the possibility of deploying both from the start seems unlikely, especially given the performance of the midfield players.

The newspaper also indicated that the chances of Raphinha starting seem limited, despite his previous deployment in Lamine Yamal's position during the young player's injury absences.
