According to journalist "Nicola Schira," the initial talks between Chelsea and Alonso were positive regarding the possibility of him taking on the role of head coach next season.
The report indicated that Alonso expressed a desire to manage Chelsea, given the club's management reliance on a long-term project, as the Spanish coach is considered one of the leading candidates for the position.
