Marc Cucurella, the Chelsea defender, spoke in a press statement following the 1-1 draw against Liverpool in the 36th round of the English Premier League at Anfield.

The Spanish defender said, "I think the effort put in today was very good. It might not have been our best moments, but we showed that we have a good level when we play as a team. We hope to gain some confidence from this match, as we are preparing for a crucial game next week."

Chelsea is preparing to play against Manchester City on May 16 in the FA Cup final.

He concluded: "We are not completely satisfied because we were aiming to win all three points, but we are happy because we showed that we are truly a strong team if we put in the effort and fight together. We hope to learn from this match and deliver a good performance in the few remaining games."

It is noted that if Chelsea wins the FA Cup final, they will secure a spot in the Europa League next season, regardless of their position in the Premier League.
