The Spanish newspaper 'Sport' reported that Marcus Rashford's future may be directly affected by Manchester United's decision regarding the continuation of interim coach Michael Carrick.

According to reports, Carrick has succeeded in improving the team's results after the departure of Ruben Amorim, having restored stability to the group and led Manchester United to positions qualifying for the Champions League.

Carrick confirmed in statements carried by the newspaper that his future has not yet been decided, pointing out that clarity is important as the end of the season approaches, with three rounds remaining in the league.

The report added that Carrick is one of the main supporters of Rashford's return to Old Trafford, as he believes that the player is still capable of regaining his best form with the team, and he positively evaluates the performance he delivered during his loan period with Barcelona.

On the other hand, the newspaper clarified that there is a division within Manchester United's management regarding the English player, with some parties preferring to sell him during the upcoming summer transfer period due to his high salary.
