The Al-Qadisiyah team duo, Italian Matteo Retegui and German Julian Weigl, have completed the first stage of their treatment program in their respective countries, in preparation for returning to the Kingdom to continue their rehabilitation.

The two players underwent external treatment following recent injuries, with Retegui suffering a joint fracture and Weigl sustaining an abdominal injury.

The duo is currently continuing individual training as part of the specified medical program, in a step aimed at gradually preparing them to return to group training in the coming period.

Indicators suggest that Weigl is nearing full recovery, while Retegui needs more time before getting the green light for official participation.

During the current season, Retegui has delivered outstanding performances in the Al-Qadisiyah jersey, having played 31 matches in which he scored 19 goals and assisted three goals.

On the other hand, Weigl participated in 28 matches with the team, during which he scored one goal and provided four assists, underscoring his importance in the midfield.

In terms of preparations, Al-Qadsia continues its readiness to face Al-Fayha tomorrow, Saturday, at the Al-Majma'ah Sports City Stadium, as part of the 32nd round of the Saudi Roshan League.

The team occupies the fourth position in the standings, having secured a spot in the continental playoff qualifying for the elite Asian Champions League, aiming to strengthen its position before the end of the season.
