Status of Injured Zamalek Quartet Before African Confederation Cup Final
The media personality Khaled El-Ghandour revealed the status of the injured Zamalek players regarding their participation in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
Zamalek quartet Omar Gaber, Juan Bezera, Mahmoud Bentayek, and Mohamed El-Sayed suffered various injuries recently or during the match against Smouha in the league.
Al-Ghandour said on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that Juan Bezera felt pain in his pelvic muscles and the player will be ready for the match, while Omar Gaber is injured in the adductor muscle and his chances of participating in the match are very slim.
He continued: "Mahmoud Bentayk suffered a laceration and will be ready for the match, while Mohamed El-Sayed sustained an ankle sprain and is very likely to miss the match."
Zamalek will face USM Alger next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
