Al Ahly's Stance on Requesting Foreign Referees Against Al Masry
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed Al Ahly club's stance on bringing in foreign referees for their match against Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi in the league.
Al Ahly will face its counterpart Al Masry on Wednesday, May 20th, in the seventh and final round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider.
Al-Ghandour said on his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that Al-Ahly did not propose the idea of requesting foreign referees for the match.
He added that Al Ahly Club is leaning towards relying on Egyptian referees for its upcoming match instead of foreign ones, in order to save on the high financial costs, especially with the diminishing chances of securing the title and the difficulty of the competition, which now depends on the results of others.
