Journalist Fabrizio Romano previously indicated on his YouTube channel that the English player has serious opportunities to leave Newcastle during the summer transfer window.

Phillips added that Chelsea held a meeting with the player's representatives a few days ago, but current indications suggest that Gordon is currently rejecting offers to move to Stamford Bridge.
