The veteran Brazilian star Casemiro announced the end of his journey with the English team Manchester United, confirming that he will not continue for an additional season and that his decision to leave is final and irreversible.

Casemiro said: "There is no possibility of staying for another season, I will leave through the big door. It has been four beautiful and wonderful years, and I am forever grateful not only to Manchester United but also to the fans. But my journey here has ended."

He added, "I hope I don't cry on my last day. My wife already cried when the fans were asking me to stay for an additional season."
