The Argentine forward Julian Alvarez caused concern within his national team after suffering a physical issue during Atletico Madrid's match against Arsenal in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, which took place in London and ended with the Spanish team's defeat and elimination from the tournament.

Álvarez started the match before leaving the field after about 60 minutes, as he appeared visibly affected by pain and had difficulty moving. This prompted the coaching staff, led by Diego Simeone, to substitute him and bring on Thiago Almada in his place.

According to the footage shown during the final minutes he played, the Argentine striker was clearly in pain and appeared to weaken in his running, despite his attempts to continue before the final decision to take him out of the match.

This injury comes at a critical time for the Argentine national team, amid concerns about its impact on the player's readiness for the World Cup, pending medical examinations that will determine the extent and severity of the injury.
