Wednesday 06-05-2026
The Air Force Club held its press conference before facing Mosul, tomorrow Wednesday at the International City Stadium, as part of the 33rd round of the Iraqi Stars League.

Coach Rashid Jaber and player Ahmed Sabri confirmed the readiness of the 'Falcons' to continue their journey towards securing the league title, despite acknowledging the difficulty of the task against a good and organized team.

The Air Force coach emphasized that the league title has not been decided yet, given the presence of competing teams at the top, and said: 'Our focus is entirely on tomorrow's match.'

Jaber praised the Mosul team, describing it as one of the good teams that have distinguished players and a high-level coaching staff. He added: 'We have closed the chapter on the Mina match and are now focusing on facing Mosul.'

He confirmed that his team is fully ready and that the team spirit is continuously rising within the group. He said: 'We seek to achieve a positive result, and the support of our fans gives us great motivation in every match.'

Air Force player Ahmed Sabri explained that the team is fully prepared for tomorrow's match, stressing that there is no difference between the main player and the substitute. He said: 'All players are up to the responsibility and ready to give their best.'

Sabri sent a message to the 'Falcons' fans, confirming that the team will do everything it can to make them happy in this crucial stage of the season.

The Air Force enters the match as the leader with 74 points, aiming to continue its positive results and widen the gap with the second-placed Police team, with 5 rounds left until the end of the season.

Mosul, on the other hand, occupies the 12th place with 41 points and will try to exploit any complacency from the leader to achieve a positive result at the City Stadium.
