Kylian Mbappé's team responded to the criticism he faced for traveling to Italy during his injury period, according to what was reported by the French news agency.

The entourage of the French star, Real Madrid player, said in a statement sent to the French news agency: "Part of the criticism is based on an exaggerated interpretation of elements related to a recovery period strictly monitored by the club, which does not align with the reality concerning Kylian's commitment and his daily work for the team."

The same source referred to previous statements by coach Álvaro Arbeloa when asked about Mbappé, where he said: "Every player does what they see fit in their free time, it's none of my business."

Arbeloa also added: "We don't build Real Madrid with players in formal suits, but with players who finish the match with their shirts covered in sweat and mud, based on effort, sacrifice, and perseverance," a statement some understood as an indirect message to Mbappe.
