The match between Inter Milan and Parma, as part of the 35th round of the Italian Serie A, ended with Inter winning 2-0 at San Siro Stadium, thanks to goals by Marcus Thuram and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, securing the team its 21st Italian league title in history.

Coach Cristian Chivu spoke after the match, saying: "I am happy for this group, for the club, and for the fans who have always supported us and endured last year's narrative. The team was good at rising again and regaining the right motivation to deliver a great season. Today, the credit goes to the players who gave their all."

He added: "We had a duty to try to be competitive throughout the season. We managed to maintain continuity in what we did well from the start and to bounce back during difficult moments and defeats. February was the month that made us realize we were a competitive team."

He continued: "I am happy to win the title, but I am thinking about the Italian Cup final. Today we had the chance to win in front of our fans. The club has always given us great support at every moment of the season. I have always tried to be close to the players. I try not to repeat the mistakes I made as a player. I promised myself to be the kind of coach I want to be."

He concluded: "We started the season trying to always be positive, even if we needed some adjustments depending on the opponent. We have been good, also because the work of my predecessors was excellent."
