Nicolo Barella, Inter Milan player, confirmed that the collective spirit within the team was the decisive factor in coming back strong this season and winning the Italian league title, after a disappointing previous season that ended without titles.

Barella said: "Of course we are happy, as we always said this was our goal, and we have another goal in a little over a week, it wasn't easy, but we want to enjoy now."

He continued: "This is football and life, there are tough moments, for example last season we were close to everything and won nothing, in life you always have to get back up."

He added: "I would like to thank my teammates and the coaching staff, they helped me in difficult times, and I always try to give my all."

He concluded: "I always said that you can make mistakes on the field, but this team never lost the desire to stay united, we gave everything we had, whether we won or lost, and I am very proud of this team."
