Manchester United achieved an exciting victory over Liverpool with a score of 3-2, in the match held at Old Trafford, as part of the 35th round of the English Premier League.

Manchester United entered the match strongly, opening the scoring early in the 6th minute through Matheus Cunha, before Benjamin Sesko added the second goal in the 14th minute, confirming the early dominance of the hosts.

At the start of the second half, Liverpool returned to the match atmosphere, with Dominik Szoboszlai scoring a goal to reduce the deficit in the 47th minute, capitalizing on a mistake by Diallo, before Cody Gakpo equalized in the 56th minute after an error by United's goalkeeper, with the ball reaching Szoboszlai who passed it to Gakpo to slot it into the net.

Despite Liverpool's comeback, Manchester United did not give up, as they succeeded in scoring the winning goal in the 77th minute through Kobbie Mainoo, after following up on a rebounded ball from the defense, which he shot low into the net.

With this victory, Manchester United raised their tally to 64 points in third place, while Liverpool's tally froze at 58 points in fourth place temporarily.

This win confirmed Manchester United's official qualification for the Champions League in the next season.
