Press reports have revealed that Manchester United is considering hiring Bayern Munich's assistant coach, Aaron Danks, as part of their plan to strengthen the coaching staff in the upcoming phase, should Michael Carrick take on the role of permanent manager, according to "TEAMtalk" newspaper.

Danix is currently part of the coaching staff at Bayern Munich under the leadership of Vincent Kompany since 2024, following a coaching career that included stints with England's youth teams, Aston Villa, and Middlesbrough, where he previously worked with Carrick at the latter club.

According to reports, Manchester United conducted internal evaluations of the coach and expressed admiration for his tactical abilities and diverse experiences, with a desire to bring him on board if Carrick is confirmed in his position.

If completed, Danks is expected to join a coaching team that includes other names such as Steve Holland and Jonathan Woodgate, as part of a plan to restructure the coaching staff at Old Trafford.
