Porto was crowned the Portuguese league champion for the 31st time in its history after defeating Alverca 1-0, securing the title two rounds before the end and bringing the trophy back to Estádio do Dragão after a season that saw clear dominance by the blue and white team.

After the final whistle, the stands of the Dragão erupted with celebrations and chants, as the players and coaching staff remained on the field to celebrate with the fans in an emotional scene, which included a special tribute to the late legend Jorge Costa. The celebrations then extended outside the stadium amidst the presence of thousands of fans.

The fans turned the city of Porto into a massive celebration arena, as supporters flocked to the famous "Aliados" street to continue the historic night until the early hours of the morning. Meanwhile, club president André Villas-Boas made sure to congratulate the players individually on the field, in a gesture that reflected the significance of this achievement for the club.

This title is a crowning achievement for Porto's exceptional season, having maintained the lead for long periods and successfully securing the championship with a clear advantage, adding the 31st star to their collection and affirming their strong return to the pinnacle of Portuguese football.
