Italian press reports have revealed that Aston Villa and Fenerbahçe are interested in signing Canadian striker Jonathan David, a player for Juventus, during the upcoming transfer window.

According to "Tutto Sport," David is experiencing an unstable situation with Juventus after a first season marked by fluctuating performance and results.

The Canadian striker played 32 matches in the Italian league this season, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists, while earning an annual salary of 6 million euros net, in addition to 2 million euros as incentives.

The report indicated that the Turkish club Fenerbahçe is closely monitoring the player's situation, alongside interest from Aston Villa, led by coach Unai Emery, who has admired the player's potential for some time. Emery had sought to sign him last summer before his move to Juventus on a free transfer.

The report clarified that David has not made a final decision regarding leaving Juventus at the end of the season, and the Italian club's management does not intend to sell him unless they receive a suitable offer that meets their expectations.

The player still has several matches to prove his worthiness to remain in the team's ranks, starting with today's match against Hellas Verona, where he is expected to participate as a forward.
