Severe Financial Penalties on Demiral, Al-Ahli, and Al-Nassr After the Summit

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee imposed a financial penalty on Merih Demiral, the Al-Ahli defender, due to his statements following the match against Al-Nassr.

The committee decided to fine the player 100,000 riyals for what was considered media misconduct towards the match officials, in addition to stirring controversy among the fans.

Al-Ahli Club was also subjected to penalties, as it was fined 130,000 riyals due to the behavior of its fans during the match, after several cans and objects were thrown onto the field.

According to the match observer's report, the number of projectiles thrown by Al-Ahly fans reached 22, with no injuries reported.

On the other hand, Al-Nassr was not spared from penalties, as a financial fine of 100,000 riyals was imposed on the club.

The penalty was imposed because its fans threw 57 water bottles and other objects onto the field, according to the official report.

Al-Nassr secured the victory against Al-Ahli with a score of two goals to none, continuing to lead the Saudi Roshan League standings.
