The referees' committee of the Spanish Football Federation announced the appointment of referee Diaz de Mera to officiate the match between Barcelona and Osasuna, scheduled to take place on Saturday evening at El Sadar Stadium as part of the Spanish League competition.

This is the third match officiated by Diaz de Mera for Barcelona this season, after previously managing two matches: the first in the league against Villarreal, which ended with a 4-1 victory for Barcelona, and the second in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final, which ended 5-0.

The referee has previously officiated eight matches for Barcelona in the league, during which the team achieved six victories and two defeats, the most recent being a 7-0 win against Valladolid in August 2024.

At the Osasuna level, Díaz de Mera officiated 13 matches for the team, during which they achieved 7 wins, 3 draws, and 3 losses, the most recent being a 2-1 defeat against Villarreal this season.
