Negotiations to extend the contract of Austrian star Konrad Laimer with Bayern Munich are currently at a standstill, as talks between the two parties have halted due to disagreements over the financial aspects of the new salary.

According to reports, Laimer currently receives an annual salary of approximately 9 million euros, while his representatives are seeking to significantly increase this amount to much higher figures than what the Bavarian club is currently offering. This has led to a temporary halt in negotiations, despite his contract remaining in effect until the summer of 2027.

Bayern Munich's management has not completely closed the door on renewing the contract, but at the same time, they do not seem ready to meet the player's demands at the moment. This leaves the contract situation open to all possibilities in the upcoming period, whether continuing or entering a later reassessment phase.

Despite this administrative stagnation, Laimer continues to deliver strong performances with the team this season, as the coaching staff relies on him primarily in several positions. Meanwhile, the issue of his future remains one of the most prominent topics within the club in the upcoming transfer market.
