Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, announced his full support for the re-election of Gianni Infantino as President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for a new term extending until 2031.

This stance came during the meeting of the FIFA Council, which was held in the city of Vancouver, attended by several senior officials of the sport from around the world.

Al-Mushel emphasized that this support reflects the Saudi Federation's belief in the importance of administrative stability and the continuation of the institutional approach that contributes to the global development of football.

He explained that the past period has seen the achievement of many gains, which have helped in enhancing the spread of the game and increasing its impact on various international levels.

He pointed out that the next phase requires strengthening cooperation with the International Federation, in a way that serves national federations and supports sustainable development projects in football.

He emphasized that teamwork with FIFA is a fundamental pillar for advancing the game's system and achieving more successes that serve the future of football globally.
