Aaron Ramsey also revealed his retirement after stopping playing since October, while Oscar chose to end his football journey after years spent between Chelsea and São Paulo, indicating his desire to devote himself to his personal life.

As for Dimitri Payet, he surprised the fans by announcing his retirement live on air during the Lille and Marseille match, in a notable moment that concluded his career between the two clubs that marked his most significant stations in France.

The list also saw the retirement of Sergio Romero, considered one of the most prominent goalkeepers of his generation, alongside Nicolas Nkoulou, who ended his career after experiences in France and Italy.

Giacomo Bonaventura also announced his retirement after a long journey between Atalanta, Milan, and Fiorentina, while Miralem Pjanic bid farewell to the stadiums with an emotional message describing football as his “own music.”
