Napoli Holds on to Lobotka Despite €25 Million Clause
Thursday 30-04-2026
Napoli is clearly committed to retaining the services of their Slovakian star Stanislav Lobotka, despite a release clause in his contract worth 25 million euros, which is only activated during the month of July and is applicable to foreign clubs.

Lobotka's current contract extends until the summer of 2027, with an option for Napoli's management to extend it for an additional year until 2028, giving the club a time advantage in controlling the player's future.

According to the information, the club's management is not considering letting go of the player; instead, they are seeking to secure his long-term stay, especially given his significant importance within the team's system and his pivotal role in the midfield.

A meeting is expected to be held in the coming weeks between the two parties to discuss the possibility of signing a new contract extending until 2029, in a move that reflects Napoli's desire to secure one of its key pillars.
