Manchester City has entered the race to sign Algerian Ibrahim Maza, a Bayer Leverkusen player, amidst competition from Chelsea and Aston Villa during the summer transfer window.

According to the 'TEAMtalk' website, Maza has caught attention after his impressive performances in the Bundesliga, where he is noted for his flexibility in playing between midfield and attack, in addition to contributing to 11 goals this season.

The report indicated that Leverkusen is keen to keep the player as part of their future project, despite interest from several English clubs, including Brighton, Brentford, and Bournemouth.

The report also mentioned that his teammate Christian Kovan is attracting interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City, opening the door for a double deal from Leverkusen this summer.
