Crisis Facing Al Ahly if Torup Leaves Before the New Season
The media personality Ahmed Shobier revealed that there is a crisis facing Al Ahly if Jesper Torup, the Al Ahly coach, leaves before the new season.
Shobeir said on his radio program on "On Sport FM": "Al Ahly doesn't know how to make contracts. If Al Ahly wants to let Toure go before the new season, they have a problem; the contract terms are not in Al Ahly's favor."
He added: "Torop must continue until the beginning of the next season. I contacted some people close to the management yesterday, and they said we might reach a compromise on this matter, so that it ends after the season. However, the contract terms themselves are problematic. If he leaves in the first season, he gets his full contract, meaning he receives his full salary for the next season."
Al Ahly suffered a heavy defeat against Pyramids with a score of 3-0 on Monday in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider stage.
