The Danish coach of Al-Ahly, Jes Torup, responded to a question about the possibility of submitting his resignation after his team lost to Pyramids in the league.

Al Ahly lost to Pyramids with a significant score of 3-0 in a match held on Monday evening as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League title playoffs.

In the press conference after the match, Torop said: "I sincerely apologize to these great fans for this harsh loss. I know very well why they came today, and I fully understand the extent of the suffering and pain they feel when their team does not win. They are the main driving force of this club, and what happened tonight does not befit them."

Torop affirmed that he does not intend to resign, saying: "I am a man who does not give up, and I have not and will not make a decision to withdraw or surrender halfway; if a decision is to be made regarding my departure from the technical leadership, it will not come from me, but rather it will be a decision from the management."
