Spanish press reports revealed that Polish star Robert Lewandowski continued to set impressive records in a Barcelona jersey, surpassing his previous achievements with Borussia Dortmund, both in terms of the number of matches and his scoring rate, according to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo."

Lewandowski joined Barcelona in 2022, coming from the German league after a 12-season career, the first four of which he spent with Borussia Dortmund, the club where he began his rise to stardom and left a significant mark.

According to the report, the Polish striker has reached 188 matches wearing the Barcelona jersey, surpassing his number of matches with Dortmund, which amounted to 187, following his participation in the recent match against Getafe.

Lewandowski's excellence was not limited to the number of matches alone, but also extended to his scoring figures. He scored 118 goals with Barcelona, averaging 0.62 goals per match, compared to the 103 goals he scored with Dortmund at an average of 0.55 goals per match, despite playing one less match with the German team.

In contrast, his numbers with Bayern Munich remain unmatched, especially since he played there for eight seasons, which is twice the period he spent at Dortmund, and also more than his current career with Barcelona so far. With the Bavarian club, he played 375 matches and scored 344 goals, with a scoring average of 0.92 goals per game.
