The young star Lamine Yamal, a player for FC Barcelona, was awarded the Best Player in La Liga for the month of April, just a few days after suffering a severe injury that ended his season with the team.

Camp Nou hosted the match between Barcelona and Celta Vigo as part of the Spanish League competition, which ended with the Catalan team winning 1-0.

Lamine Yamal scored the only goal of the match from a penalty kick, before getting injured and collapsing on the field. Subsequent examinations revealed a tear in his hamstring, which means he will miss the rest of the season's matches.

According to the official website of the Spanish League, the player received the Player of the Month award for April.

Yamal's crowning came after his outstanding performance throughout the month, as he contributed to Barcelona's victories in all their local matches. He scored a goal against Atletico Madrid, assisted two goals in the match against Espanyol, and scored the winning goal against Celta Vigo.
