Dr. Mostafa El-Moniry, head of the medical staff at Pyramids Club, revealed that Ahmed Atef Qatta, a team player, underwent surgery today at a hospital following an injury he sustained in the match against Zamalek yesterday, Thursday.

A cat was injured after a strong collision with Pyramids player Fiston Mayele.

Al-Muniri explained in an official statement released by the club that the surgery involved repairing and stabilizing a fracture in the player's nose, which he sustained due to a strong collision. He noted that the player would remain in the hospital under observation until his discharge.

He pointed out that Qatta will gradually return to the field within a week without any physical contact, wearing a face guard for protection, in preparation for his full participation in team training and matches once he is completely ready.
