Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal spoke about his team's victory over Pyramids in the league.

Zamalek succeeded in defeating Pyramids with a 1-0 victory on Thursday evening in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League title playoffs.

In the press conference following the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "We were aware of the difficulty of the match, and this victory brings us a step closer to winning the league title. Some say the league is close to Zamalek, but we haven't achieved anything yet. We remain focused and have an even tougher match in three days."

He added: "We are getting closer with each match, but the difficulty increases. We have two matches in 5 days, and we will take each match separately. I thank the players, and there are no words of gratitude that can truly express our appreciation for the Zamalek fans. They support us in every match, and they are an important part of the Zamalek system. We promise to fight so that you leave happy."

He continued: "Pyramids played against us in the same way they did in the first round, and for the first time I saw them playing on transitions, while we stood to create spaces. I believe the team was standing firm, despite the difference in playing style between the first and second halves."

Moatamed Gamal confirmed: "If any setback occurs in the upcoming match, it would be as if we have done nothing. But thank God, I have great players and leaders. We can separate the celebration from the upcoming match, which is what we are focusing on now."
