Wednesday 22-04-2026
Trabzonspor is escalating its stance regarding the future of Brazilian Felipe Augusto, amid increasing interest from Saudi club Al-Ahli in acquiring his services during the upcoming transfer window.

The Turkish club is holding on to its young striker, refusing to let him go easily despite increasing offers, and affirming that his departure will only occur under specific financial conditions.

According to press reports, Trabzonspor's management has set a minimum amount of 25 million euros to agree to sell the player, clearly indicating their commitment to his technical value within the team.

Al Ahly has recently renewed its interest in signing Augusto as part of its plans to strengthen the attack line with young players capable of making a difference in the upcoming phase.

The 22-year-old player joined the Turkish team at the start of the current season from Cercle Brugge for approximately 5 million euros, with a contract extending until the summer of 2029, with an option for extension.

Augusto delivered outstanding performances this season, participating in 29 matches in the Turkish league, during which he scored 12 goals, confirming his ability to play as a forward or a playmaker.

In a related context, Trabzonspor's management has begun searching for potential alternatives in anticipation of the player's departure, but they require a substantial financial offer that reflects his development and current value.

Augusto's name was also linked to a move to Al Hilal, following an offer worth 11 million euros plus 2 million euros in incentives. However, the Turkish club categorically rejected the offer.
