Barcelona Concludes Preparations for Celta Vigo Clash Without Marc Bernal
Tuesday 21-04-2026
Barcelona has concluded its preparations for the Celta Vigo match, scheduled for Wednesday evening, as part of the league competitions, in the absence of young midfielder Marc Bernal from the final training sessions.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo,' Bernal did not participate in the training session held on Tuesday under the leadership of coach Hans Flick at the Joan Gamper sports city. He trained individually away from the group as he continues to recover from the injury he recently sustained.

The 18-year-old midfielder is suffering from a sprain in his left ankle, with his recovery program progressing positively. However, he has not yet reached the readiness that allows him to return to group training normally, leading to his exclusion from the Celta Vigo match.

Bernal had emerged as one of the young talents relied upon by the team recently, having scored five goals and provided an assist this season before the injury halted his development at a critical stage of the season.

Barcelona is handling the player's condition cautiously, preferring not to rush his return to the field to avoid any potential setbacks that could affect his career in the upcoming period.
