Monday 20-04-2026
Real Madrid team won the UEFA Youth League title for the second time in its history, after defeating Club Brugge on penalties 4-2, following a 1-1 draw in regular time.

The match began with clear dominance from the Madrid team, which imposed its style and created opportunities until Jacobo Ortega succeeded in scoring the lead goal, confirming his team's superiority during the first half, which witnessed strong offensive performance and remarkable defensive organization.

Despite the advantage, matters were not settled early, as the opponent returned in the second half with a surprising goal that brought the match back to square one, leading the game into a stage of tension and caution, with exchanged attempts without resolution.

With the continuation of the draw, the confrontation went directly to penalty kicks, where goalkeeper Javi Navarro emerged as a star, continuing his impressive performance by saving two crucial penalties, as he did previously against Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final, leading his team to continental victory over Club Brugge.

This achievement reaffirms the strength of Real Madrid's academy "La Fabrica", which continues to produce stars, proving once again that it is a talent mine in Europe.

With this victory, the current generation led by coach Álvaro López writes a new chapter in the club's history, affirming that they are the new generation of continental princes, capable of carrying the flag in the future.
