The administrative body of Al-Zawraa Club announced a package of important decisions to enhance the club's journey, including appointing Captain Laith Hussein as an advisor to the club, assigning Captain Ghaith Abdulghani as the executive director, and forming a new technical committee to oversee the first football team.

Al-Zawraa's management decided to name Captain Laith Hussein, one of the club's and national team's former prominent stars, as an advisor to the club to benefit from his extensive experience in supporting administrative and technical decisions in the upcoming phase. 

The step of appointing Laith Hussein comes within the administration's approach to connect the club's history with its present and involve the names that made the glory of the 'Nawaris' in the decision-making process.

Hussein, who has a rich record as a former player and captain for Al-Zawraa, will have an advisory role in shaping the club's technical and administrative policies, providing vision and advice to the administrative body in the interest of the first team and various club sectors.

The club's management also decided to appoint Captain Ghaith Abdulghani as the executive director of the club, in a step aimed at improving administrative performance and organizing work in line with the aspirations of Al-Zawraa's fans. 

The position of executive director is one of the newly created positions in Iraqi clubs seeking administrative professionalism, and Abdulghani will be responsible for monitoring the daily work in the club, coordinating between different committees, and implementing the plans approved by the administrative body.

In the same context, the management announced the formation of the club's technical committee, which will oversee the technical aspects and set plans for the first football team. The committee will be chaired by Captain Abdulameer Naji, with members including Captain Hisham Mohammed, Captain Haider Sabah, and Captain Ghaith Abdulghani.

The formation of the technical committee with these names confirms the administration's desire to build a comprehensive technical system. The committee will be responsible for evaluating the performance of the first team, monitoring the work of the technical staff led by Louay Salah, participating in the recruitment and contracting file, and setting a technical strategy for the current and upcoming seasons. The presence of Ghaith Abdulghani in the technical committee in addition to his position as executive director ensures direct coordination between the administrative and technical sides.

Al-Zawraa, which achieved consecutive victories over Al-Shorta and Al-Karkh and ranks fifth with 54 points, seems to want to invest in the recent technical awakening by organizing administrative matters. The fans have long demanded the return of the club's symbols and activating their role, and today's decisions may be a response to those demands.
