El Shenawy Holds Meeting with Torup for This Reason
The Egyptian football star and media personality, Ahmed Hassan, revealed that Mohamed El Shenawy, the Al Ahly goalkeeper, held a meeting with the team's coach, Jes Torup.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Source: Mohamed El-Shenawy held a meeting with Torop and requested to return to the team's goalkeeping to maintain his hopes of being included in the national team's squad for the World Cup."
It is noted that the suspension penalty for Mohamed El-Shenawy, the Al Ahly goalkeeper, has been adjusted to a two-match suspension instead of four matches.
The player did not participate in the last match against Smouha due to suspension, continuing to be absent from the team's lineup for the upcoming match against Pyramids. However, he is set to return for the match against Zamalek according to the coaching staff's decision.
