The Liverpool team returned with a valuable victory from Everton's stadium after defeating them 2-1, in the 33rd round of the English Premier League, in a match held at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

With this victory, Liverpool raised their tally to 55 points in fifth place, while Everton's tally stopped at 47 points in tenth place.

The match witnessed the cancellation of a goal for Everton in the 27th minute scored by Ndiaye, after returning to VAR, which confirmed an offside. Two minutes later, Mohamed Salah succeeded in giving Liverpool the lead in the 29th minute, exploiting an excellent pass from Gakpo.

In the second half, Everton managed to equalize through Beto in the 54th minute after a pass from Hall, before Virgil van Dijk decided the confrontation in favor of Liverpool with a dramatic goal in the 90+10 minute.
