Shobier Expresses Concern Over Increasing Injuries Among the Pharaohs
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir commented on the numerous injuries within the ranks of the Egyptian national team recently.
In a radio statement, Shobier said: "Mostafa Fathi suffered a clavicle fracture. He is one of Hossam Hassan's favorite players and is always included in the national team roster and participates."
He added: "Mostafa Fathi is the third cruciate ligament injury that has affected Mohamed Hamdy and Islam Issa, and these injuries take a very long time to recover from and return to participation."
He continued: "Missing the opportunity to play in the World Cup is one of the worst losses for players due to our infrequent qualification for the World Cup competitions, as throughout our history, we have only qualified for 4 editions."
He concluded: "We hope the wave of injuries that has hit the Egyptian national team players ends here because the situation is difficult and will become more challenging in the coming period."
