The Truth About Spanish Offers for Mostafa Shobeir
The journalist Ahmed Shobeir revealed the truth about the rumors regarding Spanish offers to sign his son, Mostafa Shobeir, the Al Ahly goalkeeper.
Ahmed Shobeir said in statements on the "Al-Nazir" program: "There have been reports of a delegation from a Spanish club attending the Al Ahly vs. Esperance match in Cairo to follow Mostafa Shobeir, specifically said to be from the club 'Real Osasuna'."
He added: "The truth is that there is no club by that name in the Spanish league; the club is simply called Osasuna. Moreover, no delegation from the club or any other came to follow the player, especially since Shobeir was recently with the Egyptian national team in Spain, where it would have been easier to observe him."
He continued: "Last season, there were some offers, but during the current season, no official offers have been made for any player."
