The Truth About Imam Ashour Requesting 150 Million Pounds to Renew with Al-Ahly
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir revealed the truth about Al Ahly player Imam Ashour's request for 150 million Egyptian pounds to renew his contract with the club.
Shobeir said on the "Al-Nazer" program on the "Al-Nahar" channel: "People should speak rationally, there's no such thing as 150, 100, or even 80 million pounds for a renewal."
He added, "Al-Ahly club denied having any sessions with any player in Al-Ahly regarding financial compensation, but it is certain that there will be meetings with Emam Ashour, Mostafa Shobeir, and Hussein El Shahat for contract renewals as their contracts are nearing expiration."
He continued: "Currently, Al Ahly is not discussing anything regarding renewals. We are very focused on the remaining four league matches, and afterwards, the financial aspect of player contracts will be addressed."
